About
I specialize in helping adults and couples improve their relationships. Specifically, I help those who have difficult relationships with their parents, partners, and/or families. People who have suffered in some way as children and which keeps them from being fulfilled as adults. I have a dynamic/analytic/interpersonal orientation. I lead interpersonal therapy groups to help people improve their relationships. I tend to help people who suffer from anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, and/or whom have survived childhood traumas or neglect.
My therapeutic approach is to deepen our understanding of how your past and present connect. Group work is a speciality of mine. In individual therapy, people tell me about themselves. In groups, however, people show me how they interact with others. Group work can be a wonderful opportunity to learn about yourself and feel a part of something important.
With an attitude of curiosity, we talk about how you may keep yourself stuck in the past and from getting what you want. Depending upon your needs, you may benefit from individual therapy, couples work, or group therapy. Sometimes you may benefit from some kind of combination of therapies.
