I am a psychotherapist and founder of Creative Arts Psychotherapy NYC, who integrates Gestalt, Somatic Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, and Dreamwork into my practice. I specialize in working with clients facing anxiety disorders, depression, disordered eating, trauma (PTSD/CPTSD), identity exploration, and LGBTQ+ concerns, with a particular focus on clients experiencing Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) related to childhood abuse. After almost 20 years of working as a therapist in NYC, I have founded Creative Arts Psychotherapy, a group practice offering a diverse set of skills and specialties to best serve clients.
My approach to therapy relies heavily on the client's optimal method for growth. From a Gestalt perspective, I offer traditional talk therapy, trauma-informed somatic therapy as well as art therapy. Clients often find the creative process gets to the essence of what's really happening and promotes self-awareness, esteem, and insight.
