My approach as a therapist is as an empathetic guide, helping you foster healing, growth and transformation. I work with you as a whole person, including mind, body, relationships and spirit. I have extensive experience working with PTSD, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, life transitions and crisis. I have a trauma informed perspective and work with people who have histories of physical, sexual and emotional abuse and violence. I believe we all have potential to be healthy, vibrant, whole selves.
I will work with you to help identify and transform patterns, reactions, emotions and behaviors that no longer serve you in your life. My methods are EMDR, expressive arts, somatic/body-centered techniques, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, cognitive behavioral, play therapy with children, family systems and internal family systems therapies.
I work with adults, children, teens and families. I am not taking couples at this time. I am welcoming of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations and relationship structures. I know each individual’s struggle and life path is unique. My role is as a guide on your journey to wellness and wholeness.
