I am passionate about helping teens & adults navigate difficult times in their lives while also discovering, celebrating, & utilizing their strengths & interests. My counseling services are focused on partnering with clients as they work through difficulties associated with anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, learning differences, self esteem, & life changes. Additionally, I enjoy guiding student-athletes as they learn how to deal with academic and athletic pressures while optimizing performance.
I use the following therapy modalities: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, & Solution Focused Therapy. I am well versed in techniques to enhance social competencies & executive functioning skills needed for school, work, & social settings while also honoring neurodivergence.
At the heart of counseling is the client-counselor relationship. I prioritize establishing a strong therapeutic relationship that is based on acceptance, empathy, & a genuine concern for the client's well being. As a counselor, I help clients find their best selves guided by their own goals & values. Please reach out if this seems like a good fit for you!
