About
I have two to three openings for new clients at this time. The guiding values of my practice are authenticity, intention, and connection and I am likely a good fit f or you if you are seeking more of this in your life. The word Hiraeth has its origins in the Welsh language and is believed to translate as a longing for one’s literal and figurative homeland. I believe that many of the people I work with seek therapy to discover what is missing and I have the endurance to support, side by side, in this search.
I LOVE to work with people who struggle to manage the ups and downs of their emotions but aren’t sure why, want to set more boundaries with others, are trying to break cycles of generational trauma and addiction in their family of origin , have a history of chaotic and inconsistent caregivers and relationships, and have recently had life altering transitions
I draw from a variety of theories and modalities and one model does not fit everything and all people. In my practice I am informed by, and will utilize components of, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, and Interpersonal Neurobiology.
