As social beings, we thrive when we have adequate emotional support. Through a mix of Strengths-based approaches and Solution Focused techniques I aim to provide my clients with a space free of judgment and full of compassion. I love helping others improve their self-awareness, work towards acceptance and take back control of their lives. I love getting to know my clients and collaborating with them as we explore goals for treatment. This is influenced by my passion to help others discover their best selves and create their own version of happiness.
My style of therapy has developed from a wide-ranging background that includes work with adolescents and adults in both outpatient and inpatient acute care settings. I have extensive knowledge in crisis based difficulties in the areas of academic, social, and emotional struggles.
I believe that every client has a unique strength within themselves to overcome the obstacles life throws at us. This strength can sometimes be overshadowed by feelings of anxiety, bouts of depression or even a lack of confidence. During these times, having a safe place to explore and an outside perspective can greatly help the process of healing.
