I have been honored to work with individuals and couples who have improved their communication, boundary setting, and coping skills through practice, dedication, and the power of a restorative and healing therapeutic relationship. I have often been amazed and inspired by the clients I have seen who uncover their potential, and overcome obstacles that they once thought were insurmountable. We both influence and are influenced by our environments and relationships. The same way we are molded by these experiences, we can also create self change through support, tools, and the power of intention.
Now more than ever, many of us need support as we navigate incredible stressors and uncertainty. My aim is to create a collaborative, respectful, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe to explore not only the barriers to your goals, but also share your triumphs along the way. I use evidence based treatment methods in my work such as CBT and ACT.
From my former work as an intake coordinator, I recognize and honor that starting therapy can be a daunting task. The same aspects we desperately want to change often keep us from seeking help in the first place.
