Jennifer Baca-Davila
Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC
I believe there comes a time in everyone's life when we will feel lost, disconnected or hopeless. We sometimes lose our ability to deal with life's challenges. This inability to deal with life's challenges can be frightening, confusing and problematic. What is needed at such moments in our life is an attuned and trusted other. Someone who can believe in us when we can't believe in ourselves. It is in this kind of therapeutic relationship where old wounds are healed and we learn to trust, manage our emotions and reconnect to our wise and true self.
I practice a type of therapy that is backed by science and is respectful, experiential, body focused and transparent. I don't believe in labels nor do I believe that any diagnosis is untreatable. I work from an attachment and depth or Jungian based psychological model.
I specialize in religious and spiritual abuse and childhood trauma. If you have experienced a traumatizing group experience, I can help you reclaim your voice and your life. I also work with some clients- usually adolescents using creativity and art as I have a background in art and design.
