My practice is client driven, and I use a combination of approaches to meet each individual's needs, recognizing that there are a multitude of factors that contribute to mental health and/or social instability. I tailor each session and strive to adjust method and practice so that it is comfortable and effective. For over 20 years I have worked extensively with clients facing anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship and parenting issues, separation, attachment disorders, gender identity questions, and loss/bereavement in a variety of settings.
I am on the MH Panel to assist on cases in Family Court on LI and in NYC. In collaboration with attorneys representing parents/caregivers or children, I conduct assessments, attend meetings, explore services, and/or provide recommendations/court reports on abuse/neglect, delinquency, termination, and other Family Court matters.
