SPACE Parenting Group
SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions) is a newer evidenced based treatment developed at Yale's Child Research Center. SPACE is uniquely powerful because it facilitates change through parent changes and does not require children to 'do' anything. Participants will gain a meaningful understanding of anxiety which will be used to create an actionable plan to reduce current and prevent future struggles with anxiety. Families with more serious, pervasive, or lasting challenges, may need individual session to address specific concerns. If you prefer, I am also available to deliver SPACE to individual families.
