My focus on Perinatal Mental Health is grounded in providing specialized education (child maltreatment, interpersonal violence, & child loss/grief), advocacy/inclusion, support of under-represented populations, and in peer-reviewed publications. I continue supporting children and families in the PICU, NICU, and various other inpatient programs in pediatrics.
My work with caregivers and own motherhood journey has cultivated a passion for supporting women through infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting challenges, and I am currently pursuing her Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). I am an active member a number of national and state Perinatal Mental Health organizations.
