Being diagnosed with a mental illness is nothing to be ashamed of and it is important to talk with a therapist you feel comfortable and vulnerable with. Finding the right fit with a therapist is essential so that you can be yourself in a safe space and know that you are being listened and heard, without judgement. We live in a dark world and struggle with dark thoughts sometimes, but always know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Hang in there and never give up on yourself.
I have 11 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience working with the following diagnoses: bipolar disorder, depression, generalized anxiety disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, conduct disorder, attention deficit disorder (ADHD), etc. Please see all of my specialties in the section at the bottom of my page.
The reason I became a therapist is because I wanted to make a difference and help others. Struggling with mental illness can sometimes be very difficult, but I believe with the right help, you can get back on the right track.
