Jennifer Alumbaugh, MS, LMFT, Marriage & Family Therapist in San Antonio
**Currently accepting new clients!** I am an intersectional, trauma-focused, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, coach, consultant, and artist. I hold nurturing space for adolescents, adults, professionals, and couples to explore, heal, and enrich their lives. My clients embody diverse identities. It is important to me to work within the framework of your values and I invite you to bring the whole of yourself into our sessions together. With compassionate care-centered in truth and kindness-and empowering encouragement I will walk with you through the difficult questions, challenging circumstances, and uncertain seasons you face.
As a therapist, I have extensive experience working with survivors of psychological, emotional, and spiritual/religious abuse; trauma/complex trauma (sexual violence, childhood & developmental/attachment trauma, interpersonal violence); and PTSD/cPTSD. As a survivor of complex trauma and traumatic grief, I have the personal experience of healing, recovery, and restoration.
I love engaging clients in creative process using visual art, poetry, collage, art journaling, writing prompts, and movement (Walk it Out walking/talking sessions outdoors). I offer in-office and virtual sessions via VSee to residents of Texas and California; Online appointment booking; and reduced rates on counseling/coaching packages.

Healing Support Circle

**Beginning Saturday 1-13-2018** This 12-week circle is centered around the book, Healing from Hidden Abuse, by Shannon Thomas, LCSW and includes guided discussion, creative process, and psychoeducational teaching components. This circle is currently open to women and femme survivors. With a maximum of 7 clients and 1 therapist, this circle is nurturing, private, and has room for all the pain and anger you might bring with you. We gather together in a circle because as survivors-myself included-we all have wisdom and insights we can offer one another as well as receive from each other.
