I provide psychotherapy services within a variety of effective therapeutic methods, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. My strengths-based approach to therapy is tailored to the needs of the individual in order to identify the client's goals, reveal the underlying causes of symptoms or issues, and implement healing strategies & behavior modifications. My method aims to help the client comfortably share, improve insight to past behavior, manage stressors, and make productive choices.
I specialize in working with young adults and adolescents experiencing symptoms of anxiety, panic, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and depression. I also have extensive experience working with clients who have experienced trauma through violence or assault.
Originally from New England, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies at the University of New Hampshire and then obtained my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wheelock College in Boston, MA in 2009. I am a Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker in the State of West Virginia. I also provide Telehealth sessions in the state of South Carolina.
