My goal as a Licensed Professional Counselor is to create a safe, non-judgmental experience. I assist clients with developing insight into themselves, building skills for managing life more effectively, developing healthy perspectives, and when appropriate, exploring the roots of emotional pain. Therapy can help a person to create a life worth living and find more peace in the present moment. I believe people are capable of change and know how difficult change can be. I find that with positive support and a therapeutic relationship, one can feel stronger and more confident in making positive changes.
My areas of focus are treatment of Trauma and Anxiety. I provide training in Mindfulness skills & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I assist clients through life transitions, learning assertiveness skills, and overcoming codependency. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
I see clients via telehealth only, so clients will need a private space and feel comfortable with technology and computer/screen communication. I accept some insurance plans and see adults age 20 and older. Email gets the fastest response, and phone calls are returned within 2 business days. I look forward to meeting you!
