I have a collaborative, holistic approach to couples therapy, where couples are free to explore their issues in a judgement-free and open environment. No topic is off the table: it is safe to discuss aging, parenting, faith, money, sensuality, and any other topic that is creating tension in your relationship. I place a strong emphasis on healthy communication, open and honest intimacy, and an examination of the role our personal histories and the culture in which we live have on our current reality. My goal is to help couples grow into the best version of themselves they can be, facing challenges together with honesty and integrity.
Our focus will be on the holistic reality of your relationship, not just on the specific issue presented. The stage we are at in our lives, the particular stressors we face, the environment in which we live, and our personal histories, all influence the now, and all need to be woven together to create a healthy path forward.
I have worked in multiple settings as a trusted counselor, advisor, and conflict mediator, and am able to use these skills to create a warm and supportive environment where each couple is allowed to be their unique selves. No two couples are alike, and I will meet you where you are now, and help you get to where you would like to be.
