Hello and welcome. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my area of clinical focus is couples therapy and relational work. Our relationships with ourself and others determine our well-being, and these relationships require consistent, intentional nurturance and care. When we are disconnected from one another, we suffer. Seeking therapy is an act of courage and kindness: it honors our relationship with ourself and others by inviting meaningful, positive change.
I work holistically from a systemic perspective, seeking to explore the dimensions of your history and experience; how these inform your sense of self and way of being; how current patterns of thinking and behavior may affect your relationship with yourself and others; and the possibility, purpose, and practice of alternative ways of being.
Our relationships are the foundation of our very lives, and we cannot understand ourselves without understanding how we nourish–or neglect to nourish–ourselves and one another. Central to our work together is your experience, your wisdom, your insight, and your goals for meaningful life changes.
