About
I am here to support you during difficult times, and I hope to help you move towards meeting your goals. Change is hard, for all of us. This process is yours, and I can provide a gentle push if needed. My focus is preteens and adolescents ages 11 and up, couples, and parents of children of all ages. I also work with individual adults and young adults. I can help with issues including anxiety, depression, gender identity, postpartum struggle, stress management, parenting issues, loss, conflict management, relationship concerns, and life stressors. Please note: I can only see clients through August 2023.
My training includes CBT and DBT. I hold a Masters in School Counseling from Syracuse University in 2008, and am currently pursuing an additional Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College. I am an intern at Now and Next Counseling, working under clinical supervision. I have been a School Counselor for fourteen years.
In my free time I love to travel, write, hike and read. I have been married for nine years, and we have three children, two dogs, twenty chickens and three rabbits. When I can’t travel, my second choice is enjoying our home in the country, and caring for our animals. Allergy alert: a dog sometimes shares my counseling space!
