I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist and meet with adults, couples, and families with a variety of concerns such as overwhelming emotions, relationship stress, life transitions, and traumatic experiences.
My interests include helping people with life transitions, overwhelm, and conflictual relationships. I hope to co-facilitate conversations that recognize each person's knowledge and capabilities for responding to challenges and changing their relationship with problems. My approach to counseling is collaborative and aims to support each person's preferred way of living.
I'm interested in societal and cultural influences that shape the problematic stories people come to understand about themselves; and aim to have conversations that locate the hopes, values, abilities and intentions people hold that support them to enact changes they're hoping to make. I am an LGBTQ affirming therapist.
