I provide evidence brain-based EMDR & Brainspotting to support Athlete mental health. Whether you are looking for advanced techniques to get into the Flow State or treatment for sports performance problems such as mental blocks, performance slumps or injury, I can support your journey. Sports problems such as low confidence, anxiety, the slumps or the yips are all treatable! By reprocessing how the brain digested the significant negative memory, we can reset the brain and nervous system to return the Athlete to peak performance. My treatment approach also helps to “install” positive programming for future tasks & high stake events.

Due to the nature of elite-level sports, a routine physical injury or any significantly upsetting event can develop into a performance problem. The demanding pressures that today’s athletes face provide a breeding ground for emotional trauma as well. By processing these difficult experiences, an athlete’s brain and nervous system can return to top form.

As a former athlete who left the sport due to trauma I understand what it takes to sustain longevity in a sport. As a former Board of Directors of CAMFT, a Brainspotting Practitioner, Certified EMDR Therapist & Approved Consultant for other Psychotherapist, I strive to normalize and help athletes achieve mental well-being in their sport.

A Modern Approach: All sessions will take place either onsite at your sports field, in my office, or Telehealth. All types of sessions are highly encouraged. Onsite, you will receive direct observation and in-the-moment treatment using biofeedback technology while performing your skill.
