I am Jennie Brogan (pronouns she/her/they), a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years of experience working with individuals in various counseling arenas. I specialize in topics related to sex and sexuality, sex therapy, couples/relationship therapy, LGBTQ+ issues, "alternative lifestyles," religion & faith, and the intersection of sex and faith. I have been successful in treating clients with depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, and self-esteem issues. I have helped individuals develop healthy relationships, confidence, assertiveness, and communication skills.
I earned my BS in Psychology at James Madison University, a Master of Science in Counseling and Human Development at Radford University, and a Master of Education in Human Sexuality Studies at Widener University. I use person-centered therapy, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
