My ideal client is someone who presents with feelings of discomfort, fear, anxiety or overwhelm and is looking for a safe space to process emotions and work towards improving overall well-being. Their issues can range from anxiety, difficulty setting boundaries, low self-worth, difficulties in relationships, trauma or depression. Goals for therapy might include improving self-worth, setting boundaries, or feeling more calm and grounded overall.
I believe in meeting a client where they are at, setting goals and working from there. I specialize in working with adolescents and all that this time of life brings up, whether its peer relationships, school difficulties, or relationships with parents. I do individual therapy across the lifespan and some family therapy when needed.
Therapy can be a very scary thing to embark on and I offer a nonjudgmental space to process through emotions, learn skills, and build an overall improved self-esteem. I believe that therapy can look different with different people so whether its playing games, using humor or art for things, or doing traditional talk therapy, I am open for what you need.
