Hi there! I am so glad you stopped by! As a relationally trained therapist, I work with individuals and families by focusing on the full context of their lives. I especially enjoy working with children and teenagers and have a passion for helping clients heal from trauma. I approach therapy with empathy and believe in the transformative power of building strong therapeutic connections based on trust and compassion. As a therapist, I advocate for social justice by striving to dismantle oppressive structures and amplify marginalized voices. I welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities!
In therapy, I use a range of approaches including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), experiential therapies, and other relational frameworks. Through the therapeutic process, I help clients develop effective coping strategies, enhance self-esteem, improve communication, and restore the power of their voice.
I would love to offer support to you and your family as you navigate life's difficulties and commend you on taking the first step towards therapy! Feel free to reach out through email or find me online at Flatland Counseling and Consulting.
