My name is Jenna Zucker, and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist based in Los Angeles, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adolescents and young adults, specializing in depression, social anxiety, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I have an eclectic approach utilizing Solution-Focused, Client-Centered, and Mindfulness-based modalities. My therapeutic approach is individualized to meet my clients where they are. Depending on the unique goals of each client, I often pull from Solution-Focused, Mindfulness-based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Experiential Modalities.
Challenges that often arise during this time include navigating one’s identity and authentic nature, engaging in dating & romantic relationships, social pressures, depressive and anxiety-related symptoms as well as new challenges and experiences that come with reaching varying milestones.
I approach goal-setting with my clients by taking the time to learn what matters to each client, learning what they would like to experience more of and what isn’t working in order to collaboratively develop goals. These can change over time and tend to become clear as we develop our therapeutic rapport.
