We all need connection and support as unique as we are. My work as a therapist values collective culture and the natural world as much as individual growth, and I help clients connect to these sources along with our work together. I provide specialized care for individuals, groups, relationships, and families who seek to better their communication, face healthy conflict, build self-awareness and confidence, and heal from harm. In exploring and challenging ourselves, we can also cultivate social justice and joy.
I specialize in relationships and also enjoy working with individuals, relatives, friends, coworkers, and chosen family. I also specialize in co-parenting work, and I enjoy bringing family members into therapy as needed. I love working with fellow artists & rebels, transplants to the Midwest, the LGBTQIA community, & people ready to grow in therapy.
I value direct and transparent communication, and easily confront difficult topics with a relaxed and calm demeanor. I also appreciate humor and want clients to feel free to express themselves openly. I am naturally curious and patient, though I am also a human, and conflict is a healthy part of life!
