About
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, personality disorders, chronic stress, emotional disturbance, developmental trauma and other mental health issues. My goal in therapy is to cultivate a non-judgmental environment that will allow the patient to become aware of unhelpful behavior patterns that have developed overtime and work together to heal these wounded parts that created the patterns in the first place. My hope is to support the patient in imagining, together, what a different experience could be like.
My work is influenced from a relationally-focused psychodynamic approach to treatment. Through providing a safe, healing relationship with the therapist, the patient has an opportunity to repair wounds from the past and establish a new way of approaching life, struggles, and relationships.
It takes an immense amount of courage to take the first step in your healing journey. Because no two people's journey is alike, my hope is for us to navigate the process together to address what you need. Together, we will allow you space to make sense of what you have experienced in the past and what you desire for your future.
