My goal as a therapist is to help you better understand yourself in a way that is empowering, as well as provide you the tools to heal from negative past experiences, and develop healthy thinking, emotional, and behavioral patterns. Given my extensive career in Medical Social Work prior to Private Practice, I am especially equipped to assist clients who are accepting and navigating complex medical diagnoses and challenges. Additionally, given my experience in Hospice care, I am particularly passionate about helping clients through the extremely emotional challenging process of grief.
