Do you struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, or just managing the daily grind? Are you finding it hard to manage your emotions, or do you just feel like you are lost? Maybe you feel exhausted at the end of a long day or are constantly feeling overwhelmed by life and it is hard to get started on the things you need to do. Maybe you are sick of living up to the standards of society or of someone else. Sometimes it seems just getting through the day is a triumph (and maybe it is).
I believe that each individual has the capacity to live out total balanced wellness through mind, body, and spirit. My hope is that each person I work with can find fulfillment and joy in their lives through achieving emotional and social well-being. I hope to create a work-space for people that is non-judgmental and encouraging.
I have experience with childhood disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, depression, relationship issues, teen/young adult issues, women’s issues , and grief counseling. I mainly practice CBT and use a strengths based approach. I also practice EMDR and am an EMDRIA certified therapist. I'm a LCSW in NY and PA & can see clients in both states.
