Koru Mindfulness Online Workshop March 2022

Koru Mindfulness is a 4-week ONLINE workshop focused on teaching mindfulness, meditation, and stress management techniques. Each week individuals learn at least one mindfulness skill and one guided meditation. There will also be a discussion portion where people can talk about their experience practicing mindfulness both in the workshop and at home. Attendance of all 4 sessions is required. Self-Compassion Online Workshop May 2022

The Self-Compassion is a 4-week ONLINE workshop teaching you to be less critical and kinder towards yourself when you are struggling. It teaches skills for tolerating distress and decreasing rumination about perceived mistakes or flaws. It helps you feel more connected and less alone in your struggles. It consists of practical activities, writing exercises, discussion among members, and guided meditations. Research has found increasing self-compassion leads to increased happiness, self-confidence, body image, resilience and coping and decreased depression, anxiety, stress, and perfectionism.
