I take a relational approach to the therapeutic process, and believe it is my job to act as a guide, helping clients clear the path toward uncovering their innate ability to heal and grow. Being human is not without its challenges and sometimes traumas. I believe improving connection with others, nervous system regulation, identifying unhelpful patterns, and addressing wounds is a critical step in thriving after these experiences.
I have over 500 hours of specialized training in experiential modalities, including psychodrama, brainspotting phases I & II, Somatic Experiencing Beginning Levels I & II, sandtray therapy, animal-assisted therapy, among others. It’s all just a fancy way of saying that I believe in engaging the brain in creative or hands-on activities in addition to talking.
I take a trauma-informed, collaborative, relational approach which is informed by my background in the music/touring industry, and the performing arts. I love working with all types of individuals from a variety of backgrounds, and look forward to connecting with you!
