As a Licensed Cognitive Behavioral Therapist with 30 years of expertise, I believe counseling should provide you with the strategies you need, tools that are easy to understand & apply, both in session & on your own, that help you to challenge both the negative, unhealthy thoughts & behaviors that are at the root of your emotional distress. My goal is that you leave each session feeling more confident in yourself & in your ability to live your best life Fearlessly!
I specialize in CBT & Exposure therapy in person, online & In vivo- (outside of the office setting), the gold standard of treatment. While these issues aren’t curable, my method of therapy focuses on how to effectively overcome your current challenges & gain proactive tools to more successfully manage, even prevent, future recurrences.
Beginning counseling takes courage, which is why I want sessions to be a safe haven that provides a supportive & judgement-free environment; we only proceed at your pace. I also believe it's essential to speak with potential clients on the telephone before the initial session, to ensure that we are the right fit for each other. I support equality for ALL!
