Hello, my name is Jenica (like Jessica, but with an "n" instead of "ss") and I've been therapist since Sept 1, 2011. I'm licensed in AL, WI, MD, DC, and DE, with my home base in Alabama currently.
I love working with a variety of adults 18+ to geriatric who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, grief, life changes, bipolar disorders, and victims of narcissism. No matter the situation, I believe that we all have the power within ourselves to heal, though we may need help at times to find that power.
In our first session, I want you to feel as comfortable and safe as possible and know that this is a space with no judgment. I've been in your seat, and I know how vulnerable this can feel, bearing your soul. We'll casually get to know each other and gather relevant background information.
