About
Hi! I'm Jeni. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. I specialize in working with young adults, college students, and teens who are experiencing anxiety, depression, struggling with self-esteem, or looking for support in adjusting to change. I also provide trauma-focused counseling, including EMDR sessions, for clients who have experienced any stressful or upsetting events that have changed the way they view themselves or the world. I utilize a warm, encouraging, and strengths-based counseling approach, helping my clients discover and leverage the best parts of themselves to promote healing and growth.
I believe that with the support of empathy, authenticity, a safe space, and an expressive outlet, we are all capable of reaching our fullest potential. My counseling approach focuses on exploring who you are, how you got here, and what you value so that you can take concrete steps to long-lasting change.
I'm looking forward to getting to know you and learning how I can support you in reaching your therapeutic goals. I know it can take time to match with a great therapist, so please feel free to reach out for a brief, complimentary phone consultation to see if we would be a good fit! My practice is entirely virtual and I can see clients located in Georgia.
