Announcement icon To support your family in this uncertain & stressful time, I am accepting new clients for both in-person and teletherapy (video) sessions.
I am passionate about providing innovative and evidence-based counseling for children, adolescents, and their families. I use a positive and strengths-based approach, striving to empower my clients with increased confidence and stability. I believe that children are resilient, and with the support of additional coping tools and an expressive outlet, all children can learn and grow, and feel understood and valued. I believe we can use both our darkest and brightest experiences to reach our fullest potential.
I began my career as a second-grade teacher and have worked with children and adolescents in school settings, community and outpatient mental health, and private practice. I have extensive training in play therapy, and also interweave play into other attachment-focused and trauma-focused modalities including CBT, ARC, Internal Family Systems, and EMDR.
In my practice, I use creative and expressive interventions through play, art, sand, and drama techniques. I'm looking forward to getting to know you, and to supporting you and your family. Please feel free to call or email me directly for a brief initial consultation, to see if we would be a good fit!
