Getting to this point in considering therapy takes a lot of courage! It can be a lot to try to find the therapist that is right for you. I get it, I’ve been in that seat, too. But it’s also a lot to keep living and feeling the way you're feeling right now. So let’s make some adjustments and start you on your way to feeling and living better. Spoiler alert: no therapist has all the answers. Instead, let's find the answers together. I'm here to guide you along your path, not tell you where to go. Therapy is us working together.
Overall, I see people who are facing some tough stuff. More specifically, I work with individuals who are 18 years and older, who tend to be mostly women, but men are welcome, too! I also see couples for couples counseling. I strongly believe in the treatment of the whole person and their strengths, not just their perceived weaknesses.
My sessions are calm, collaborative, and straightforward - but we're allowed to smile and laugh in session! I might be the right fit for you if you are looking to get all the things out of your head and then leave the session with a new skill or thought to try when you are living your life between our meetings. That's where the real growth is.
