Therapy is a journey and commitment to bettering yourself and it speaks volumes to your readiness for change that you are searching for a therapist. Clients I see most often are looking to seek relief from what often feels like the never ending spiral of anxious thoughts. They want relief from the physical symptoms that come along with anxiety, and they want to know how to worry less about the issues in their life that are consuming them. Often working on boundaries, anxiety management techniques, and processing difficult times in their lives or relationships can be the key to relief from many of these issues.
I will be a human in the therapy space, not a robot. I find it important to connect with my clients and provide empathy and understanding and listen to whatever you need to share in the therapy session. I will use lots of tools that I have gathered along my years of experience as a social worker and share anything I feel will help you through your struggles.
