I love supporting couples and individuals who are wanting to make a change in their life or wanting to feel better. Maybe they are struggling with regulating their emotions and don't have enough tools to be as resilient as they would like to be. Maybe there are outside stressors with work, a relationship, or kids and want support in how to handle a situation. They may find themselves "triggered" by things from past trauma and they don't know how to cope. They may feel very stuck in a relationship and now sure how to move forward.
I like to help clients feel safe and work towards their goals. . I work with couples using the Developmental Model taught by Ellyn Bader PhD. I support individual clients as well coping with issues such as depression anxiety, panic attacks, grief, binge eating, bipolar disorder, stress management, LGBTQ issues, and trauma.
