My orientation is primarily psychodynamic, incorporating elements from CBT and others. Specialties include personal empowerment; pregnancy; parenting; physical issues/illness; and culture/identity. Since 2006 I have provided therapy; before this I was a non-profit director and executive director. I taught for years in a doctoral program and a high school. I serve on the executive committee of a local institute board. Though I don't accept insurance, I will give you a Superbill you can submit for reimbursement. The office is near the Takoma Park metro.

ICP+P Associate Director for Outreach & Publicity
As AD for Outreach, I led the Diversity Interest Group. The DIG focused on increasing attention to diversity in our educational programming. I also edited the newsletter and co-led the website redesign, and spearheaded efforts to strengthen existing external connections and develop new institutional alliances.
