Jen Rose Alexander
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Whether you are feeling anxious, down, alone or simply stuck, I can provide a safe space for you to be fully heard and supported. I can help you to better understand your feelings and experiences and make sense of them in a new way. Together we will identify your personal barriers- the challenges that prevent you from moving forward and living the life you've envisioned for yourself. Whether your goals are short or long-term, my holistic approach is designed to meet your individual needs.
I combine Psychodynamic principles with Strengths Based therapy, Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you attain emotional well-being, improve your interpersonal relationships, and develop coping skills. My mission is to arm you with self-understanding and awareness, what I believe to be the essential tools for creating change.
My commitment to wellness and personal growth was born out of a desire to help others heal. It has developed through my studies in psychology and social work, my work in higher education as a counselor and teacher and my experience as a person dedicated to learning and personal improvement.
