I have been in residential substance abuse most of my career and I have a SUDC license. I moved over to general outpatient in 2019 and have been working with a wide array of clients since then. Since most of my career and training has been with single adults, I do not see children and I do not work with couples and families. I am a challenging yet supportive therapist who works with clients to reframe negative thought patterns into positive, empowering perspectives. I am passionate about guiding individuals toward self-awareness and meaningful change through the transformative power of self-acceptance and compassionate reflection.
I specialize in codependency and trauma and helping clients increase self esteem and hold better boundaries without guilt and fear. I use EMDR and IFS techniques in combination to facilitate healing and help alleviate trauma. I love to focus on increasing self love and self forgiveness to create change and empower you to be the best you you can be.
I am direct and will challenge core beliefs and unhealthy thought patterns pretty outright, but I believe I am warm and empowering as well. I believe in being genuine because it builds safety and transparency. I believe that is the best environment to grow and change in because you know you are fully accepted and therefore can talk openly without shame.
