I am a therapist with NC Therapy Professionals, PLLC. I have many years of experience working with people who live with chronic medical and behavioral health conditions. I also have worked extensively with people who have experienced adverse childhood experiences and traumatic events. I want to support folks around creating and living a life that is meaningful to them. I don't use cookie cutter interventions; I tailor interventions to the individual's needs. I practice using trauma informed and identity affirming interventions.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and licensed clinical addictions specialist. I am a 200 hr registered yoga teacher and like to pay attention to interaction of mind and body, particularly related to empowering folks to learn strategies for self regulation of the nervous system. I also provide clinical supervision to folks with LCSWA, LCASA, and CDAC.
