About
Struggling with self-criticism, a life out-of-balance, or the past taking up too much of your present can feel lonely. Often the coping strategies that helped us survive can develop into problems themselves and figuring out the best way forward can feel overwhelming. I am honored to work alongside individuals as they discover their inner strengths and develop new, effective strategies to experience and navigate life. I work to foster self-compassion and self-worth in my practice.
I am LGBTQ+ and incorporate intersectional feminist theory into my work. I am EMDR Certified, a modality that can resolve past traumatic experiences and negative beliefs of self and the world following difficult experiences. My practice is grounded in DBT, Mindfulness and Self-Compassion; foundations that can help you build the life you deserve.
It can be daunting to take the first step and ask for help. I encourage you to reach out, whether it's to me or any of the highly skilled therapists in our area. You deserve wellness, and you deserve to understand your own worth.
