WHEN YOU JUST NEED SOMEONE TO HEAR YOUR STORY. I am a counselor committed to helping my clients find solutions for the places they may feel "stuck". My training allows me to work with young children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Together we would utilize a collaborative approach to help you meet your goals. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and currently registered in Washington.
I focus on the counseling relationship itself to begin because that is the very best place to start! You as the client will be in the drivers seat and together we find the techniques that best suite you. I utilize CBT, ACT, Emotion-Focused, and Narrative Therapies and am trained in EMDR therapy. I also use play-therapy, sand-tray, an art.
I am a faith-based therapist and can discuss spiritual matters if the client so desires. However, this is not mandatory and is only available should the client wish to explore more spiritual issues.
