Welcome! I work with couples as well as individual adults and teens who want to heal and grow. My clients include people of all gender expressions and sexual orientations. Some of the issues that I have experience with include relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, and sexuality.
With adults and teens, I use a combination of psychodynamic and contemplative approaches to create the conditions of change while honoring the inherent wisdom each client brings. Specific theories on which I base my approach include object relations, attachment, relational, mindfulness, and Hakomi Somatic Therapy.
My approach to couples therapy combines the principles and techniques of Imago Relationship Therapy (Hendrix) with those of the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (Tatkin) in order to help couples deepen their connection, practice communication skills, resolve conflicts and re-romanticize.
