With over 24 years as a Clinical Social Worker, Jen has her MSW from Smith College School For Social Work and advanced training in Internal Family Systems therapy (Level 1). Jen has a special focus on supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies and families. With a person-centered, holistic, evidence-based approach that is aimed at building self-compassion and confidence, healing from trauma, connecting the mind and body and finding relief from anxiety/depression, Jen wants her clients to feel valued and understood in the therapeutic space and empowered to be their truest Self in day to day life.
Jen specializes in LGBTQIA+ issues (especially women coming out later in life, gender and sexual identity, gender affirming medical care and parents of trans kids), anxiety/depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, self-compassion and mindfulness, reducing reactivity, relationship issues and parenting struggles.

TransForming Parenthood
Has your child come out as trans? Nonbinary? Genderqueer? Learning that your child is trans or gender diverse can be a surprise and comes with a variety of emotions and questions. Many parents of trans and gender diverse kids feel isolated and struggle to understand what their child is going through. TransForming Parenthood is a group for parents and caregivers to explore their hopes and fears for their trans or gender diverse child, learn about resources, connect with other parents and gain more access to feelings of curiosity, compassion and confidence.
