Life can feel exhausting and stressful. Sometimes it all feels like too much, other times you feel like “too much”. The weight of your feelings can be so overwhelming that you cope with substances, food, distraction, or anything else so you don’t have to feel. You desperately want to be understood and need to be supported but you have a hard time allowing yourself to be vulnerable enough to truly allow someone in to your world. You can rarely trust yourself, let alone trusting someone else with your deepest feelings. You feel broken and that there is something wrong with you.
My post graduate training includes: IFS Level 2, IFS Healing Circles, Somatic Experiencing advanced year, and EMDR level 1 & 2. I believe in using a mind body approach in our work as it can help deepen your experience of yourself and address root causes. My clients often leave having a deeper relationship with themselves through this process.
I am a LISW and a woman in long term recovery. I understand on a personal level what it is like to face trauma and value doing my own deep therapy work. Through my educational experience, life experience, and understanding, I am here to help you on your journey. Please feel free to reach out.
