Have you been feeling angry and irritable? Having problems sleeping at night, or having nightmares? Do you startle easily? Do you lose track of time and have memory loss? You are not alone. You may have post traumatic stress, dissociative disorder, or a combination, and I can help you process the trauma with EMDR, clinical hypnosis, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I will help you to acquire coping skills and learn relaxation techniques. I work with your other providers as a team, and will find you the necessary ongoing support after you leave treatment.
My specialties are post traumatic stress, addictions, mood disorders, dissociative disorders, and clinical sexology. I am seeing a lot of traumatized people who have been to war, or exposed to other types of trauma. I use EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as hypnosis for rapid trauma resolution, and have seen excellent outcomes.
I have a PhD in Clinical Sexology, and can treat a variety of disorders that a marriage counselor may not be able to address. I also have a Masters/Certification in Addictions Counseling. I am also trained in EMDR, clinical hypnosis, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
