Are you tired of struggling with anxiety, worry, or depression? Has work or relationship stress become too much? Therapy can help. I have 20 years of clinical, research and teaching experience and am currently an adjunct professor at Georgetown University. In my practice, I am committed to using the most effective treatments available, all the while building a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and related approaches are my methods of choice, as they have been scientifically tested and proven to work. They are solution-focused, active, collaborative approaches, which bring about desired symptom and life changes.

Therapy works by relieving suffering and helping you pursue better, more fulfilling life. First, you will learn more effective ways of responding to troubling emotions and thoughts. Over time, I can help you to become more mindful, clarify what matters most in life, and move toward your true goals.

My clients have described me as warm, authentic, non-judgmental, and easy to talk to. I offer a free 30-minute phone or in-person initial consultation, so that we can see whether I am a good fit for you. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
