I want to help you recognize which stories you wrote in alignment with your values and which were imposed on you by society, culture, and the people close to you. In therapy, I utilize evidence-based techniques while also recognizing that your mind is a vast universe to be approached from a philosophical and spiritual place.
I am a bilingual (English/Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian) therapist. I offer culturally informed therapy and acknowledge individual trauma but also intergenerational, historical, racial, and social trauma. These traumas are often at the root of many problems a person can experience in the overwhelming modern world, like anxiety, depression, and chronic illness.
As someone who grew up in unstable socio-political circumstances and as an immigrant, I have reinvented myself many times, and I can help you do the same. I am a fierce fighter for social justice and a supporter of oppressed people. I would be honored to offer you a safe space for healing, exploring, and becoming the best version of yourself.
