During my time in the mental/behavioral health field, I have worked with an array of issues and diagnoses, from teens and adults afflicted with schizophrenia to children dealing with adjustment issues. I don’t have a preferred client type, nor is this an exclusive list. But, I do feel that issues with anger, trauma, depression, and anxiety are the most pressing in today’s society, and that those suffering from these types of issues may benefit from my experience. I do like couples and families as well.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (1992). I have been a supervising, and practicing psychotherapist since. I have provided therapeutic services utilizing several different modalities with CBT being most utilized. As for a specialty, I think anger and dysregulation issues, along with trauma, depression, and severe mental illness are the closest.
First of all, I am a father and grandfather. The rest can be summed up, quite aptly, from my 3rd personality test of a similar kind.
